WESTON SUPER QUILTS 2010

Weston Quilters invite you to take part in WESTON SUPER QUILTS 2010, our sixth Biennial Patchwork and Quilting Show.

CATEGORIES:

Traditional - Up to King size - 92" x 97" maximum.
Beginners/Novice - Up to Single bed size - 71" x 93 " maximum
Journal Quilt - A4 size
Optical Illusions - Up to Double bed size – 86” x 93” maximum
Inspired by Art, old & new masters - Up to 40” x 40” maximum
Anniversaries - Up to double bed size – 86” x 93” maximum
2 Coloured Quilt - Up to Double bed size – 86” x 93” maximum
Children's Quilts (Created by of for children) - Up to Single bed size - 71" x 93" maximum

All sizes are 'up to' the size staged. Smaller sized quilts are very much welcomed. Please note that our stands only hold quilts up to a certain size. Quilts of larger dimensions i.e. Categories 4, 5 and 6 may have to be hung on the wall.

2010 Charity Raffle Quilts

Weston Quilters' raffle quilts this year have been made by Karen Llewellyn-Parsons and quilted by Charity Carter and Heather Russell. There is a large double bed sized quilt for 1st prize, 2nd prize is single bed sized quilt and 3rd prize is a lap quilt.

This year's charity are Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance all monies raised will be going to this charity. For more information please see their website www.dorsetandsomersetairambulance.co.uk.

The draw will take place on Sunday 12 September 2010 in the afternoon at Weston Super Quilts 2010.
